SLR's response to Coronavirus
In response to the ongoing global pandemic, SLR is actively following the advice and guidance on Coronavirus provided by the relevant national and state governments.
Our leadership team and H&S professionals are regularly monitoring developments and updating advice to our people using all available communications channels. That advice covers infection risk, travel guidance, office management, working from home and ongoing support to all employees.
We are planning for all possible contingencies and taking whatever action is necessary to protect the health and safety of our employees, clients, other business partners and our local communities.
We will however continue to support our clients in their ongoing operations and projects. Wherever possible and in line with government guidance, we will continue to operate and deliver services and advice to our clients.
SLR is a flexible, full-service organisation with most of our staff able to work at home or remotely from the office, should such locations need to be placed off limits for periods of time. We all have mobile technology and are active users of video conferencing, so face-to-face meetings can be replaced with mobile/cell or video calls.
In addition, we are reinforcing the resiliency and accessibility for staff of our IT systems so that our teams can access information and client files successfully. Most of our systems are cloud-based and all are very secure, so we do not require our people to be in an office to log-on and reach the information and files needed to assist our advice to clients. Also we are not dependent on third-party services or suppliers so our operations will not be undermined by supply chain shocks or interruptions.
