A Gender Action Plan (GAP) is the framework for promoting gender equality and equality of opportunities, two of the principal elements in the promotion of sound business management and the advancement of sustainable growth in countries. SLR produces GAP that are context specific in order to (i) understand which areas suffer from gender gaps, (ii) explain these gaps by identifying what institutional, economic, social, or political characteristics of the economy they might depend on, (iii) and create channels through which a project could be able to reduce these gaps.

The client receives a governance tool which provides clear targets, quotas, gender design features and quantifiable performance indicators, but also a concreate implementation mechanism to ensure that gender design elements are operational.
