Biography
Brendan has worked in the field of environmental research and consultancy for over 18 years as a scientist specialising in aquatic ecology. He has conducted work throughout Australia, specialising in environmental assessments, management plans and monitoring programs. He has managed significant projects for Government organisations, the offshore oil and gas industry and energy providers among others. Brendan has co-ordinated large, multi-disciplined project teams and developed complex sampling methodologies for monitoring and assessment programs. He has significant experience undertaking aquatic floral and faunal surveys, including those for fish, macroinvertebrates, corals, and aquatic vegetation. Brendan also has advanced GIS, statistical and reporting capabilities.
