Biography
Diarmid is a Chartered Engineer (C.Eng) and member of the Institution of Civil Engineers (MICE) with more than 25 years experience in the waste, energy, environment and engineering sectors, specialising in bioenergy and solid waste infrastructure projects (including feasibility, technology due diligence, technical specifications, procurement and contracts) and waste management in the oil & gas sector. Based in SLR's Edinburgh office, Scotland, he has delivered projects for both public and private sector clients across the UK and Ireland as well as internationally.
His areas of particular specialisation include: municipal waste management, mechanical processing, anaerobic digestion (AD), biogas, feasibility studies, technology due diligence, bsuiness case development, project management, contract procurement & administration and specialist waste management in the oil & gas sector (including for decommissioning of end-of-life infrastructure).
