Biography
Ian is a Director at SLR with 30 years of transport planning experience in both the private and public sectors. He has worked on a wide variety of development projects including residential, commercial, retail, leisure and healthcare schemes. He has also advised on major highway infrastructure schemes from initial feasibility assessment through to construction.
His expertise includes masterplanning for major developments including urban extensions, new settlements and town centre redevelopments, preparing transport assessment reports, travel plans, and urban transport studies. Ian also provides expert evidence at Public Inquiries and Examinations in Public.
Outside of work Ian enjoys spending time with his children, supporting Stevenage FC, fishing and travelling.
