Rachael Annan

Biography

Rachael is based in our Christchurch office and specialises in landscape planning assessment and peer review work and has 20 years of experience in both consultancy and local government roles. Her comprehensive approach involves an appreciation for often competing project interests and anticipated outcomes and a strong focus on achieving good outcomes for both the client and the environment.

Rachael enjoys undertaking broader landscape studies and getting involved in shaping design-related policies or provisions with the end goal of always facilitating the best 'on the ground' outcomes. Her role also entails writing and peer-reviewing landscape and visual assessments, which can often involve providing evidence and attending hearings, and providing project design advice. Most recently, Rachael has led the design mitigation and landscape assessment work for large-scale solar farm developments.
