Brad Arnold Joins SLR’s Air Quality Team in the Gulf Coast
SLR is continuing to broaden its services in the Gulf Coast Region by welcoming Brad Arnold to the firm as a Senior Engineer. Based in Birmingham, Alabama, Brad will be providing air quality and environmental compliance services to SLR’s growing client base in the region. He brings more than nine years of industry experience as an air quality consultant, focused on permitting and compliance for the iron and steel, oil and gas, chemicals, and manufacturing sectors. Brad will be working with Managing Principal, Tim Desselles, on a number of industrial facility expansion and environmental compliance projects, including a number of Prevention of Significant Deterioration (PSD) facility expansion projects in the iron and steel industry that we are currently supporting. His specialties include detailed air permitting and compliance support, large audit programs, and developing greenhouse gas emission reduction strategies.
Brad has a chemical engineering degree from Auburn University and is a member of the Air & Waste Management Association (A&WMA), and Manufacture Alabama. He has managed a wide variety of projects, including New Source Review (NSR) and PSD permitting, sustainability reporting and data management, Notice of Violation (NOV) response, and complex air dispersion modeling.
