Rod has 30 years’ experience in undertaking soil surveys, formulating erosion and sediment control plans, conducting land reclamation and revegetation programs, preparing water management plans and assessing environmental impact of industrial developments such as abattoirs, steelworks, alumina refineries / aluminum production plants and intensive agriculture (beef cattle feedlots, dairies, piggeries, poultry) and viticulture.
Rod is a Certified Professional Soil Scientist (CPSS Stage 3) with the Australian Society of Soil Science and a Certified Professional in Erosion & Sediment Control (CPESC) with the International Erosion Control Association (IECA). Having fulfilled the roles of extension officer, regulator, consultant and contractor, Rod is in the unique position of having an intimate knowledge and understanding of soil and water management issues within a variety of industries.

Stephan is a Managing Principal and Mining Sector Lead for the Canadian Operations. He has provided engineering and environmental services for over 18 years for mining and other projects in over 25 countries in North America, South America, Europe, Africa and Asia. His experience includes work with prefeasibility and feasibility studies, EPCM, site construction, Environmental Assessments (EAs), management plans, environmental permitting and stakeholder consultation, including First Nations and Métis.
Heather Bartlett(US) Close
Ms. Bartlett has over 25 years of experience as an environmental compliance specialist working with industry at both the individual facility and corporate environmental positions, and as an environmental consultant representing manufacturing companies across North America. As a Principal Engineer, Ms. Bartlett leads a compliance team with specializing in environmental compliance and permitting, auditing, and sustainability.
Ed Perry is the Operations Manager for the Environmental Management Planning and Approvals (EMPA) team in Africa. He has worked in environmental consultancy for over twenty years for a wide range of public and private sector clients.
Ed is a registered Environmental Auditor with the Institute for Environmental Management and Assessment and a Lead Auditor with the International Cyanide Management Institute.
Prior to moving to South Africa in 2011 Ed worked in the UK on a wide range of projects including EIAs and Integrated Pollution and Prevention Permits. Since moving to South Africa, Ed has been involved with ESIAs and environmental authorisations throughout Africa. Ed has been Project Director / Partner in Charge of EIAs for a wide range of facilities including: Renewable Energy Facilities; Metal Extractive Industries; Large Water Storage Schemes; and New Mine and Extensions to Mines.
Ed has also undertaken a wide range of environmental audits including; due diligence audits, EMPR audits, and over 20 international cyanide code audits of mines throughout Africa.
