Mike Webb, Technical Director, CEnv
Mike has prepared and presented Ecological evidence as an expert witness at planning, s. 28E(6) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 Appeals and criminal cases. Experience includes waste, energy, mineral extraction, built development and land management projects. He has given evidence on more than 10 separate occasions several of which have had issues with internationally important wildlife sites.
Recent cases include Energy Recovery Facilities in Avonmouth and Oxfordshire, a residential development in Devon and a test case for management practices within a European Wildlife Site.

Duncan Watson, Technical Director, CEnv, MCIEEM
Duncan is an Ecologist with 20 years’ professional experience. He has particular experience in the power sector and has provided written representations for two nationally significant infrastructure projects, also appearing at two hearings during the examination of the Clocaenog Forest Wind Farm project in North Wales.
Duncan has also provided written evidence for two wind farm public inquiries.

Bob Edmonds, Principal, CEnv
Bob Edmonds has presented evidence as an Expert Witness on Ecology for a mixed-use development in the Cotswolds. His evidence covered protected species (including bats, reptiles, badgers and breeding birds) and detailed assessment of potential impacts upon grassland-habitats of the nearby SAC and SSSI.
Bob has also prepared and presented evidence at House of Commons Select Committee on ecology, his evidence focussed on the effects of HS2 proposals on local bat populations and considered the effects of alternative designs.

Steve Holloway, Principal, CEnv
Steve specialises in large-scale renewable energy, built environment and mining & minerals schemes. He has presented ecology evidence as an expert witness for seven renewables public inquiries throughout England.
His evidence has covered a wide range of issues, from impacts on bat and bird populations, to assessment of notable habitats and designated nature conservation sites.
