John Postlethwaite, APAC Operations Manager - Engineering & Advisory, Bachelor of Engineering (Enviro), Associate Diploma in Civil Engineering, CPEng, RPEQ, NER.

John has 30 years of engineering experience in environmental and civil projects.  He has worked on a broad range of projects across a number of sectors in Australian and Internationally, providing professional advice and design guidance on a broad range of projects.

He specialises in environmental engineering with particular emphasis on surface water hydrology, flood estimation and stormwater drainage, Environmental Impact Assessment  and land and water quality risk assessments.  His experience includes projects across the Built environment (residential and commercial development), Infrastructure, Industrial, Mining and Minerals and agricultural sectors. John has provided expert advice on many projects and has worked as designer and project director responsible for the assessment, planning approval and detail design and construction phases of stormwater networks, flood mitigation schemes,  stormwater quality improvement measures and on-site wastewater treatment and disposal systems.

He has provided expert witness services on stormwater matters in the District Court (NSW), and has acted as expert advisor and reviewer on flood mitigation projects for Local Government Authorities and State Government departments in QLD.  John has also led Public and Stakeholder consultation on behalf of local government authorities. He has also been involved as technical expert in surface water, flood risk and land quality in Public Inquiries in the UK.
