Environmental Assessment Report - Blueberry Hills (ta/ St Johns Village) Amendment Application

SLR Consulting (South Africa) (Pty) Ltd have been appointed by Cedar Falls Properties 25 (Pty) Ltd (Cedar Falls) to manage their application for an amendment to the environmental authorizations for the development of Blueberry Hills Village (Blueberry Hills) (t/a St Johns Village): Residential and Mixed Use Development on the Remainder of Portions 135, 137, 138,139 and 141 of the Farm Stocklands and Oatlands No. 878, uMngeni Local Municipality.

The application proposes the amendment to provision set out in the original Environmental Authorisation (EIA/6903 dated 27 November 2008) and/ or the Addendum to the EA (DC22/AMEND/6903/2013) and proposes:

• An update to the name of the development referred to in the EA;

• An update to the property description/location of the activity described in the EA;

• An update to the project description quoted in the EA;

• An update to the drawing referencing in the EA;

• An amendment to the number of approved units and land uses permitted for development prior to the

upgrading of the Howick WWTW;

• Installation of services within specified wetland buffers; and

• An amendment to the method of retaining effluent during peak flow periods.
