Biography
David is a Technical Director based in our Melbourne office with over 25 years in acoustics and project management. He has gained a balanced approach to the acoustic assessment process having lived and worked in Australia, Singapore, and New Zealand, providing him with a broad-based acoustical knowledge.
David has considerable knowledge in environmental assessments, the design and assessment of practical noise control measures along transportation corridors (road, air and rail), construction and tunnelling works, mechanical services, architectural acoustics and land use planning.
He was formally on the Australian Department of Defence Estate Planning and Acquisition Panel, in relation to providing the DoD with advice on acoustical issues.
David has a thorough understanding of the working of the various Approval Authorities and has prepared and presented expert evidence to Authorities and Court Hearings, Commission of Inquiries, etc in Singapore, Australia, and New Zealand.He has undertaken a larger number of projects in the transportation, defence, mining, industrial and building acoustics sectors where noise or vibration has been the key issue.
