Biography
Gustaf is a Technical Director based in our Melbourne office with over 25 years’ experience in project management and consulting roles in acoustics and vibration. He has specific expertise in the measurement and assessment of environmental acoustics (road, rail, industrial, mining, wind farms) and associated noise control, computer noise modeling, noise mitigation and architectural acoustics, vehicle structure vibration measurement, machine vibration condition monitoring, construction noise and vibration assessment.
He has been involved in many high-profile projects in Australia and has prepared and presented expert evidence at Commissions of Inquiry (NSW), Panel Hearings (Victoria), the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal and before other regulatory and statutory bodies. Furthermore, Gustaf has been engaged as an expert independent reviewer for a variety of large public building projects in the field of structural vibration.
Gustaf has considerable wind farm project experience in compliance monitoring and assessment, noise complaint monitoring and resolution, wind farm noise modelling and prediction for impact assessment.
In addition to consulting work in Australia, Gustaf spent time overseas in Scandinavia, working on the noise and vibration aspects of several large infrastructure projects.
