Ian Mayhew

Biography

Ian has more than 30 years of resource management experience in local government and consultancy roles in New Zealand and is currently based in our Auckland office. He specialises in natural resource management, including freshwater, stormwater, wastewater and land/infrastructure development projects.

A particular specialty of Ian’s is to utilise his science and resource management experience to integrate complex scientific and technical information into major resource consent applications and policy and plan development in a way that is relevant and understandable. Ian has successfully applied these skills and experience to a wide range of significant plan and consent acquisition projects. He also stays up to date with the ever-increasing requirements of national directions in New Zealand to ensure they are given appropriate effect in plan development and consent acquisition.
