Biography

Jeremy is a Technical Director currently based in our Newcastle office with over 25 years in ecological assessment and environmental consulting. He has completed biodiversity (flora and fauna) assessments and management plans for a range of infrastructure projects in NSW, including major rail, road, power and water projects, and is familiar with the legislative and policy requirements associated with biodiversity at State and Commonwealth levels. He has been involved with several rail infrastructure projects in recent years, including Sydney Trains, ARTC and RailCorp projects. He has recently delivered ecological assessments and advice on ARTC rail projects in the Hunter Valley of NSW and was lead ecologist on the Hunter 8 Alliance for ARTC.

Jeremy has specialist skills in ecological assessment, threatened species assessment and management, vegetation (and bushland) management and tree management (arboriculture). He is an Accredited Assessor under the NSW Biodiversity Assessment Method (BAM), and can provide advice on offsets for a range of development proposals.
