SLR is pleased to announce the continued growth of our Asia Pacific region, with the recent addition of an office in Wellington, New Zealand.

SLRs expansion of services into this region will be led by recent recruits Kevin Tearney – Technical Director in our Land Quality and Remediation team, and Tim Baker - Principal Consultant in our Hydrology and Hydrogeology team. Both Tim and Kevin will bring a wealth of internationally recognised experience to the broader SLR group, in addition to their invaluable local insights and knowledge.

Beccy Philby, Asia Pacific Land and Water Operations Manager said “Our expansion into New Zealand is a key component of our 5-year Strategy and Kevin and Tim’s skillsets and capabilities provide a strong platform from which to establish and grow our technical offering in New Zealand. In the face of various water reforms and infrastructure stimulus, and with a growing focus on emerging contaminants, we recognise that the outlook across the Water Resources and Contaminated Land sectors is strong and we are excited to now be able to provide these services to clients.”

This service and team expansion is the perfect complement to our highly regarded Waste and Resources Management, Acoustics and Marine Science team capabilities based out of our Auckland and Nelson offices.
