SLR is pleased to announce the appointment of Luke Bertini as Asia Pacific Regional Sector Leader – Infrastructure. Luke will be responsible for exploring opportunities to expand our existing Infrastructure service offering to current and emerging clients.

Luke is a highly regarded professional, with significant project experience delivering decarbonisation strategies and advisory services related to infrastructure resilience. He has worked on projects across environment, aviation, public transport, rail, waste and maritime industries in both Australia and the Middle East; working with operators, investors, owners and contractors to support them managing their risk in the course of delivering capital and upgrade works.

Luke has an interest in increasing the liveability of cities through making transport networks more resilient with his background in environmental and operating consulting providing him with a unique perspective to clients challenges.

On joining SLR, Luke commented:

“I am thrilled to have joined SLR and be contributing to their already stellar reputation in the built environment. I’m eager to commence engaging with our clients and teams to support showcasing the value SLR can deliver. Built environment professionals are in a unique position in time where we can have a significant influence on how existing assets face the challenges of a changing climate. We also hold the responsibility for future infrastructure and how this is designed, built, operated and maintained. I’m looking forward to working with SLR and our clients on this challenge”.

Asia Pacific Regional Manager, Paul Gardiner added:

“We are excited to have Luke join the SLR APAC team and lead our Infrastructure service offering. Luke’s experience will be extremely valuable as we look to expand our involvement in the sector, specifically in regards to water infrastructure and mobility.”
