Clash Gour Wind Farm

Clash Gour Wind Farm is a proposed 48 turbine wind farm in Moray, Scotland with various turbine heights, including some with tip heights of 176m, are proposed to be built.
SLR project managed the scheme from early conception through to submission, including the completion of an EIA (including carrying out many of the technical surveys). SLR also produced documentation in support of the application such as a planning statement and Pre-Application Consultation Report. Utilising our expertise in the fields of Planning and Project Management, SLR ensured that submission of the application for consent was achieved in a timely and efficient manner.
There were a number of challenges associated with this project including its proximity to the Cairngorms National Park and Aviation lighting issues which required innovative solutions to reduce negative effects.
