The project involved Engineer of Record services associated with Dry Rejects Emplacement Area (DREA) and Brennans Creek Dam (BCD) at West Cliff Coal preparation Plant, and achieving Global Industry Standard on Tailings Management (GISTM) conformance.
Our objective was to improve management and governance whilst assisting South32 to achieve GISTM compliance.
Our team undertook the following services:
- Typical Engineer of Record services
- Gap analysis and development of forward work plan to achieve GISTM compliance
- Geotechnical site investigation of DREA
- Erosion modelling of final DREA landform
- Dam Safety Review of BCD
