    Greg Altria

    Greg has previously worked as a Permitting Officer at the Environment Agency and has applied his knowledge of environmental management, regulatory requirements and technical processes on a wide range of environmental permitting projects at SLR. Greg has far reaching experience of the regulatory requirements for power plants, industrial installations, onshore oil and gas sites, and waste management facilities as licensed under the Environmental Permitting Regulations (England and Wales), Waste Management Licensing Regulations and Pollution Prevention and Control Regulations (PPC) (Northern Ireland).

    Heather Kerr

    Heather specialises in the development of complex permit applications and Environmental Management Systems (EMS) in addition to the discharge of pre-operational and improvement conditions detailed within a variety of environmental permits. Since joining SLR, she has been heavily involved with the production and successful acceptance of Fire Prevention Plans (FPP’s) for a variety of different sites including Plastic Recycling Facilities, Energy Recovery Facilities, Materials Recycling Facilities, Wood Recycling Facilities and multi activity facilities.

    Paul Wright

    Paul’s previous experience as NRW Industry Regulation Team Leader for North and Mid Wales gives him unrivalled insight into the requirements of environmental permitting and compliance, and in particular, knowledge of how the approach to engagement and improvement can influence the natured timing of Regulator actions. This is complemented by a detailed understanding of industrial business operations gained through over 20 years’ experience of operational and technical management of various sites across a range of industrial sectors.

    Maggie Dutton

    Maggie is a specialist in environmental regulation, having many years’ experience working with businesses and government at a senior level within the Environment Agency. She has extensive knowledge of permitting and compliance requirements and has managed a range of multidisciplinary permitting projects within SLR across the minerals, waste and industry sectors. She engages with trade bodies and regulators to shape ongoing compliance requirements and assists clients with solutions for complex or novel activities and to address appeals, compliance and enforcement issues.
