    Garreth Walker

    Garreth Walker has over 16 years of consultancy experience in asbestos and occupational hygiene management. He has worked extensively throughout Australia, the UK, S.E. Asia, and China and has supported national and global companies in reducing risks associated with asbestos and other occupational hazards. He has worked on a wide variety of projects for defence, industrial, maritime, and resource sector clients. Core services provided include complex asbestos management, occupational hazard assessment, development and implementation of management plans to control occupational hazards, supervision and technical advisory for large scale remediation projects.

  • Paul Turyn Principal
    Paul Turyn

    Paul is a Principal Environmental Engineer with over 19 years working in the industrial, private, government, oil and gas, and mining environment. His experience encompasses both project management and direction, managing complex technical projects with tight delivery times and sensitive information. He has managed large scale projects incorporating a diverse range of environmental and occupational monitoring and assessment programs.

  • Dr Craig Simpson Senior Scientist
    Dr Craig Simpson

    Craig is an experienced consultant with extensive experience in occupational hygiene, laboratory analysis and environmental field work. He has undertaken a range of occupational hygiene and environmental projects, including health risk assessments, mould and indoor air quality investigations, monitoring of various chemicals and dusts, investigations of potential workplace exposures, reviews of consultants reports for insurers, as well as asbestos identification and airborne asbestos fibre monitoring.

  • Sharon Kratzmann Principal Consultant
    Sharon Kratzmann

    Sharon joined SLR in April 2021 as a Principal Consultant within the Occupational Hygiene & Hazardous Materials team in Townsville.

    She brings more than10 years’ experience working within the asbestos consultancy industry and 16 years’ experience in Investigative Chemistry and Environmental Toxicology.

    Sharon’s consulting experience includes numerous asbestos hygiene services across a variety of projects. She is motivated and offers a flexible approach to achieving goals and meeting deadlines and is currently undertaking a Diploma of Project Management.
