We are pleased to announce SLR has acquired Element Advisory; a leading Western Australian regulatory approvals and planning consultancy, with complimentary capabilities in social, cultural and digital services.

Led by CEO James Curtis, Element Advisory is a 65-person team of technical specialists with expertise in planning & regulatory approvals, social, heritage, digital and spatial services. For over 30 years they have delivered trusted advice supporting critical infrastructure projects, solving modern day ESG challenges and creating sustainable and vibrant urban communities. They are big thinkers who solve unique problems, navigating the complexities of regulatory, cultural, social and economic challenges facing governments, companies and communities to deliver clarity and impact.

The addition of Element Advisory will further strengthen SLR’s existing planning and approvals capabilities, expanding our contribution to the built environment, resources and renewable energy sector. This acquisition will also see our local presence in Perth grow to a team of more than 170, making it one of the largest specialist teams in the State.
