Biography
Callum is a Senior Consultant in the Renewable Technical Services team with 4 years’ experience in the renewable energy sector and holds a Master’s degree in Renewable Energy from the University of Reading. His work has a broad focus on solar energy asset management (e.g. performance monitoring), due diligence (e.g. design and yield reviews) and design with experience of industry standard software tools such as PVSyst and Helioscope. This experience has allowed him to contribute to designs for both planning and detailed yield appraisal purposes. Callum also has experience of the planning process, having led multiple glint & glare studies, and authored Environmental Statement (ES) chapters as part of the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) process.
Callum previously worked in another large consultancy helping to deliver decarbonization pathways for large public sector estates such as hospitals, army barracks (MoD) and prisons (MoJ). He was the Project Manager overseeing multiple large projects as well as being one of the technical leads delivering power decarbonization strategies, working alongside experts in heat and transport to ensure these strategies were synergistic in nature. He also has an interest in the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) process and has authored ES chapters on lifecycle GHG emissions arising from commercial projects.
