Biography
Claire is an Associate Director at SLR and has over 15 years’ experience providing environmental support for a wide range of real estate, and merger and acquisition transactions throughout UK and Europe. Claire specialises in comprehensive buyer and vendor Environmental Due Diligence (EDD) and providing pragmatic advice to clients on the commercial risks associated with an asset. She has experience of project managing from various aspects of the deal including acquisitions, divestment and refinancing, and can undertake comprehensive communication with various stakeholders.
Claire has an excellent understanding of the practical application of UK and EU Environmental legislation; and is also experienced in environmental compliance auditing and legal register completion for a number of companies, including lawyers, industrial manufacturing facilities and oil and gas sector clients and consultants in the UK and Europe.
Claire is an ESOS Lead Assessor, an accredited Level 3 and Level 4 Non Domestic Energy Assessor (NDEA), qualified to provide Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) for properties throughout the UK; and also a Section 63 Advisor who can provide Section 63 Action Plans and Display Energy Certificates (DECs).
