David Gibson

Biography

David is a Project Process Engineer in the Process Engineering team based in Edinburgh, with a focus on anaerobic digestion and bioenergy. Previously a System Engineer in the nuclear industry, David has experience in delivering complex and long-term projects, such as the decommissioning of contaminated legacy sites, as well as implementation of operation and safety plans for process plants. David’s bachelor’s dissertation related to the use of nanoporous materials in carbon capture and was followed by a master’s dissertation which involved using machine learning to design materials for carbon capture.
