Derek is a senior, bilingual (English/Spanish) mining industry executive with extensive experience in consulting, operating and corporate environments and exposure to projects worldwide in a diverse range of environmental, social, and regulatory settings. He has expertise in environmental & social risk management, permitting, design and implementation of Health, Safety, Environment & Community (HSEC) management systems, sustainability reporting, due diligence assessments, auditing, reclamation, and closure planning.
