Laura Burroughs

Biography

Laura sits on the Business for Societal Impact (B4SI) team at SLR. She supports the global team to help companies navigate their social impact journeys and grow B4SI in North America. Her role combines a background in nonprofit impact measurement and ESG consulting, to provide rigorous and relevant support to B4SI members.

Before joining the B4SI team, she worked as a Consultant for SLR’s ESG Advisory, where I supported Fortune 100 clients across multiple sectors, including heath care, retail, agriculture, and food and beverage.

Prior to SLR, Laura spent over five years in the nonprofit sector, working for a peacebuilding NGO. To translate this work into advancing impact with the private sector, she obtained a Master of Business Administration with a Social Impact focus from the Heller School of Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University. Laura also has a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs and German Studies from Lewis and Clark College and a Project Management Professional certification
