Biography

Luis is a senior Civil Engineer and environmental consultant specialized in water resources with near 20 years of experience in the areas of hydraulics, hydrology and stormwater management, mostly focused on mining projects for global mining clients. His experience includes hydrological and hydraulic numerical modelling, site wide water balances, planning and design of water management systems, hydraulic design of conveyance structures and water management ponds, dam break analysis, evaluation of environmental impacts on hydrology, and development of mine closure plans.
