Peter Allen

Biography

Peter is a Technical Director based in our Brisbane office with approvals, environmental impact assessment and environmental management experience in the water, transport, energy and mining sectors, within Australia (New South Wales and Queensland), the United Kingdom, Romania, Guinea, and initially in Nigeria, Palestine, Jordan and Tadjikistan. Peter has undertaken the roles of primary author, project coordinator, technical reviewer, project manager and project director for a range of impact assessment and management projects.

Peter also has extensive experience in the approvals, environmental and social inputs for due diligence assessments of mining projects on behalf of banks, investors and for mergers and acquisitions, involving reviewing Environmental and Social Impact Assessments, feasibility studies, environmental and social performance, regulatory compliance, and assessments of financial provisions for development, operation and mine closure.
