Transport advice for Littlebrook Power Station

Client Name
Bericote Properties
Location
Kent, UK

Challenge

We are working with Bericote Properties on proposals to redevelop the former Littlebrook Power Station. The site occupies a prime location within the M25 motorway and is adjacent to the Dartford Thames River Crossing, providing the opportunity for the efficient distribution of goods across London and the home counties.

With the Queen Elizabeth II Bridge and Dartford Tunnel to the east, the site has easy access via J1A to the M25 Motorway and the wider national motorway network. It also has excellent rail and port connectivity.

Solution

The initial proposals are for 42,000 sq m of warehousing, to be followed by further phases of development. A particular feature of our initial work was to assess the “fallback” scenario and compare with the development proposals.

Impact

All transport matters have been agreed with Highways England and Kent County Council.
