Technical Discipline Manager
Over the last few years, Dan has specialised in the offshore marine environment, specifically regarding the oil and gas industry. He has extensive knowledge and understanding of the EEZ Act, Resource Management Act, Maritime Transport Act, Marine Protection Rules, Department of Conservations Code of Conduct for Minimising Acoustic Disturbance of Marine Animals, Offshore Petroleum and Greenhouse Gas Storage Act (OPGGS Act) 2006 and the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act, where he is considered one of the most experienced and respected consultants within New Zealand.
Andrew is SLR’s Marine Science technical lead in Australia. He has over 25 years’ experience working for specialist science and engineering consultancies and state and commonwealth Government environmental management agencies.
Reid is a Marine Ecologist specialising in the planning, organising and completion of environmental surveys in both inshore and offshore environments. Reid has many years’ experience in environmental consulting, marine ecological surveys, offshore oil and gas exploration, production consenting and monitoring, consent condition monitoring, assessment of new sites for aquaculture installations and assessment of marine outfalls/discharges.
Dr Lachlan Barnes
Lachlan is a Principal consultant with extensive experience in the design, implementation and realization of numerous research projects. He has managed complex multidisciplinary projects, delivering technical reports, data analysis and leading scientific field sampling teams in both temperate and tropical regions throughout Australia.
