South32 needed assistance with engineering services for a slope stability remediation for the pre-feasibilty study for Bauxite Residue Disposal Area at Worsley Operations bauxite refinery.

Solution

SLR provided a pre-feasibility assessment, study, design, report and drawings to identify preferred options of remediation for the Bauxite Reside Disposal Area in compliance with Global Industry Tailings Standard on Tailing Management (GISTM).

Impact

SLR was engaged to undertake a pre-feasibility study for Bauxite Residue Disposal Area 2 (BRDA 2) remediation at South32 Worlsey Alumina.
