Lewis Brimmell

Biography

Lewis is an Associate within the Manchester Office Transportation Engineering team. He is a chartered engineer with over 10 years’ of professional highway design experience working within both public and private sectors. On numerous schemes across the UK Lewis has been responsible for the detailed design of highway improvement schemes and securing technical approval from Highway Authorities for Section 278/38 Agreements. He has in-depth knowledge of applying Building Information Modelling (BIM) processes to infrastructure schemes, having assisted with the implementation of BIM on major National Highways and Local Authority projects.

Lewis has in-depth experience of taking projects through their whole project life cycle having worked on many schemes from concept design, detail design, technical approval, tendering and on site supervision as a qualified NEC Supervisor. Some of his career highlights include Highways Lead for smart motorway upgrade M62 J10 to J12, Package Lead for M60 J13 capacity improvements, Technical Lead on Middlebeck Southern Link Road and Design Project Manager on A282 J1A Improvements.
