SLR has provided asbestos consultancy services to Western Power for several years including annual asbestos resurveys of Western Power’s property asset portfolio.
These include; Substations, Depots, Communications sites, Training facility and head office located in the Perth Metropolitan and/or Regional Western Australia.
In addition to asbestos resurveys, SLR also provides the following:
- Development of a site-specific asbestos remediation scope of works
- Vetting of Licensed Asbestos Removal Contractors and review of contractor documentation i.e. Asbestos Removal
- Control Plan
- Undertaking airborne fibre monitoring, clearance inspections and clearance certification for asbestos remediation projects
- Asbestos awareness training to Western
- Power staff
